Podcast Producer - Video & Audio Sfunio Parent Inc Los Angeles, CA Job Details Contract 1 hour ago Qualifications YouTube Research Schedule management Adobe Premiere Metadata Full Job Description Overview We're building a multi-show podcast network in Los Angeles and are looking for a hands-on contract Podcast Producer to help launch and run a growing slate of video and audio shows. You'll take episodes from concept through recording, editing, publishing and promotion. You should be just as comfortable working with talent as you are running a production calendar and doing the edit yourself. This is a chance to help build a network from the ground up. You'll help shape production workflows, content standards and publishing strategy as the network grows. You must be based in the Los Angeles area for in-person recordings. Duties Manage podcast episodes from concept through publication across multiple shows Develop episode rundowns, topics, research and show prep Coordinate talent, guests, schedules and recording sessions Produce and oversee audio and video recordings Edit full-length video and audio podcast episodes Create and edit short-form clips for YouTube Shorts and social media Manage YouTube publishing: uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters and scheduling Manage podcast hosting, RSS feeds and distribution through platforms such as Spreaker Maintain show pages, episode metadata and publishing schedules Coordinate sponsor integrations and host-read requirements Work with social and marketing on episode promotion Track YouTube and podcast performance and use audience insights to improve content Help establish production standards and workflows as the network grows Skills 3+ years of professional podcast, video, TV, radio or digital production experience Hands-on video and audio editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar (you do the edit yourself, not just oversee it) Proven experience producing shows from pre-production through final publication Hands-on experience with YouTube Studio, including channel and episode management Experience with podcast hosting and distribution platforms (Spreaker, Megaphone, Libsyn, Art19 or similar) and RSS feeds Working knowledge of YouTube and podcast analytics Strong understanding of YouTube, podcasts and short-form content Comfortable working directly with talent and executives Highly organized, and able to manage multiple shows and deadlines at the same time Experience on an established or high-profile podcast is a strong plus To apply, submit your resume along with 2-3 links (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts or a portfolio) to episodes you personally produced and/or edited.
