As a Production Manager, you will be actively engaged in all stages of supplements processing, packaging, and sanitation to ensure our products meet rigorous industry standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Production Coordination:

Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet manufacturing schedules, production targets, and operational priorities.

Workflow Management:

Assign tasks, communicate expectations, and monitor workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Employee Training and Support:

Train, coach, and support production employees on approved procedures, equipment operation, safety practices, GMP requirements, and quality expectations.

Process Monitoring:

Monitor production processes to ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications, procedures, and quality standards.

Production Documentation:

Review batch records, production documentation, and operational reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with documentation requirements.

Production Troubleshooting:

Identify and troubleshoot production issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime and production delays.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth production operations.

Material and Inventory Monitoring:

Monitor production material and supply levels and notify management of shortages or upcoming needs.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

Enforce workplace safety procedures, GMP requirements, approved SOPs, and applicable regulatory standards.

Employee Performance Support:

Assist management with employee feedback, performance evaluations, coaching, and development initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

Support process improvements focused on production efficiency, product quality, waste reduction, and operational consistency.

Experience Leadership:

Ability to direct employees, assign work, communicate expectations, and maintain accountability during production activities.

Manufacturing Knowledge:

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflow, equipment operation, and documentation requirements.

GMP and Safety Knowledge:

Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices, workplace safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and company policies.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify production concerns, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate timely corrective actions.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and work effectively across departments.

Organization:

Ability to manage multiple production priorities, employees, documentation requirements, and schedule demands.

Documentation:

Ability to review batch records, production forms, reports, and other manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Fast-Paced Work:

Ability to maintain attention to quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Three or more years of manufacturing or production experience. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday while overseeing production activities. Ability to move frequently throughout production, warehouse, staging, and storage areas. Ability to occasionally sit while reviewing batch records, completing documentation, entering data, or attending meetings. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle materials, operate equipment controls, complete documentation, and use computers or handheld devices. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements associated with manufacturing and material-handling activities. Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and twist and occasionally kneel, crouch, or climb stairs. Ability to lift and carry materials, supplies, tools, or production components weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to push or pull carts, containers, equipment, or materials used in production operations. Ability to visually monitor production processes, equipment operation, product appearance, labels, measurements, and documentation. Ability to hear equipment alarms, verbal instructions, and other safety-related communications in an active production environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including gloves, hair restraints, beard restraints, protective clothing, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, or other designated PPE. Ability to work scheduled shifts, overtime, or adjusted hours when necessary to meet production demands. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a manufacturing and production environment and may also require work in warehouse, material storage, and office areas. The employee may be exposed to operating machinery, production equipment, equipment noise, airborne powders or dust, product odors, cleaning and sanitation chemicals, temperature variations, and moving materials or equipment. The role requires regular interaction with production employees, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management personnel. The employee must remain alert to manufacturing and safety conditions and follow all applicable GMP requirements, SOPs, sanitation procedures, equipment safety practices, and PPE requirements.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
