At a GlanceYou're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:

Communications, Human Resources, IOS Psychology, JournalismThis is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.

Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship, and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

Learn from a mentor who can provide guidance, support, and career advice. What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network, and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

The Human Resources Intern will support the Spectrum News HR team, serving as a strategic partner to newsroom leaders and a key liaison across recruiting, finance, payroll, and development. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting a variety of HR initiatives that impact the entire employee lifecycle.

Assist with onboarding and orientation activities for new hires, support learning & development initiatives, compile HR metrics and prepare reports using MS Office tools, research industry trends and best practices, provide administrative support for the HR team and assist with special projects.

Required qualificationsMust be a Master's student with an expected graduation date of May 2028Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Master's degree Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current programAbility to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the programAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsStrong organizational and project management skills, Excellent written and verbal communicationProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to handle confidential informationInterest in the employee experience, organizational development, and talent development #
