Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Storytelling & Production › Collaborate with ministries and the communications team to conceptualize, script, film, and edit compelling video content that tells stories of life change, ministry events, and church vision › Independently manage video shoots, including setting up gear, capturing interviews and b-roll, and directing on-set as needed › Work with team members and ministry leaders to develop a creative vision for each piece, from pre-production to final delivery › Oversee post-production of all video content to ensure consistency across audio, color correction, titling, and motion graphics › Maintain an organized archive of footage and completed projects for future use Service Editing & Publishing › Edit weekly sermon videos for online platforms, including graphics, titles, and export › Transcribe and convert messages into usable formats for content repurposing › Deliver Sunday content in a timely, platform-optimized format for digital audiences Ministry Collaboration & Special Projects › Participate in brainstorming meetings, series planning, and seasonal creative efforts (e.g., Easter, Christmas, VBS, etc.) › Capture supplemental b-roll and photography as needed to support ongoing creative efforts › Occasionally travel to capture footage and tell ministry stories at off‑site events (e.g., retreats, mission trips, etc.) Portfolio/demo reel is required with application.
QUALIFICATIONS
Creative Storyteller › Strong sense of visual storytelling, with an eye for emotion, pacing, and narrative clarity › Experience crafting videos that connect with both church insiders and broader community audiences Technically Skilled › Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop) › Comfortable setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment › Experience with color grading, sound design, and basic titles and graphics (motion graphics strongly preferred) Organized & Self-Motivated › Able to manage projects independently from planning to delivery › Organized and dependable in handling multiple projects with shifting timelines and priorities Collaborative & Flexible › Works well in a creative team environment and communicates clearly with teammates and ministry leaders › Open to feedback and able to adjust work as needed while offering thoughtful input › Willing and able to travel occasionally for multi-day or out-of-town assignments.
