Job Description

Role Summary You'll be an integral part of the production team, working closely with the Director of Sales, Project Managers, Technical Directors, and the Creative department to bring our client's vision to life. You'll help develop new business opportunities into compelling event concepts, proposals, and budgets while supporting every phase of the event lifecycle, from concept design and budgeting to on-site execution and client follow-up. This hybrid role blends logistics, client service, creative development, and sales support, offering valuable exposure to senior Producers and mentorship as you develop your skills and grow into leading your own shows. This is an opportunity for someone who already understands the live events business and is ready to take the next step toward becoming a Producer, with increasing responsibility for larger, more complex events. Key Responsibilities The Associate Producer works across Precon to help shape, plan, and deliver exceptional live experiences. Success in this role requires balancing creative thinking with production realities, taking ownership of assigned work, and collaborating effectively across departments. Client & Proposal Development Collaborate with the Director of Sales to qualify new leads, develop proposals, and help secure new business opportunities. Develop proposals, budgets, and timelines for assigned projects and opportunities and assist Producers with these responsibilities on larger or more complex events. Manage client and vendor communications for assigned accounts serving as a reliable point of contact, maintaining strong relationships, and contributing to referral and partnership growth. Support client communications and project coordination, including meeting follow-up, schedules, action items, and deliverables. Help gather and organize creative and technical assets (design boards, renderings, layouts). Contribute to the development of proposals and production plans from initial concept through execution, and maintain accurate project files, vendor records, and version control throughout the process. Event Logistics & Operations Partner with the Creative team and Technical teams to develop event concepts and translate client's needs into practical, executable solutions such as concept renderings, site and seating plans, and stage or room layouts. Collaborate and coordinate with Project Managers, Technical Directors, and Operations to develop and manage event budgets, timelines, vendor orders, equipment lists, staffing plans, CAD updates, floor plans, and run-of-show documentation appropriate to assigned projects. Assist with on-site production, including installations, rehearsals, live show execution, and event breakdown. Assist with and contribute to post-event activities including vendor invoice tracking, budget reconciliation, and debrief summaries and lessons learned documentation.
