Creates video productions to prepare and present general informational/promotional materials involving the City and community.
Scripting and storyboarding the project in collaboration with the Communications team and/or programs/departments.
Photographs events, programs and features throughout the City.
Understands the phases of video production including shooting, editing, graphics and distribution.
Film video for shortform and longform formats. Operate camera, audio, and lighting. Edit and produce video formatted for various platforms.
Communicates official plans, policies, and procedures to staff and the general public

Education & Experience Requirements:

Undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university. Background in video production. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency with office computers and related software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred. Beginner knowledge of camera functionality.

Licenses or Certifications:

Must have a valid Driver's License, or ability to obtain one.
