Job Description We are hiring a Proofreader for a top fashion company in NYC! Pay $38-42/hour Remote or Hybrid in

NYC ASAP

- End of November 5 days per week, 4 hours per day (flex to work an additional hour when needed)

Hours:

9AM - 1

PM Responsibilites:

Catch Errors:

Fix mistakes in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typos.

Check Consistency:

Ensure uniform formatting, including fonts, headers, spacing, and margins.

Follow Style Guides:

Verify that the text matches required internal standards or standard references like AP or Chicago Manual of Style.

Verify Details:

Check numbers, dates, and basic facts for accuracy.

Meet Deadlines:

Review and turn around assigned documents under tight schedules.

Required Qualifications:

Acute attention to detail, ability to work in various platforms (layout approval software) and media (both printed and digital). Previous experience proofing in multiple languages Works well in a fast-paced environment Highly organized Clear communicator. Must be able to work cross-functionallty and is deadline driven Previous proofreading experience is required within CPG, retail, fashion or other relevant industry 1-2 years minimum experience If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
