Responsibilities include:

Covering community events and local meetings Writing news and feature stories Taking photographs at events Interviewing community members Helping keep our readers informed about what matters most We are looking for someone who: Enjoys talking with people Has strong writing and communication skills Is organized and dependable Can meet deadlines Has basic computer skills Previous journalism experience is a plus—but not necessary.
