Position Summary The Mobile Lead Art Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading mobile art experiences at schools, after-school programs, birthday parties, corporate events, community festivals, libraries, camps, and private events. This role oversees the successful execution of each event by managing staff, coordinating with event hosts, ensuring participant safety, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is an experienced artist, confident instructor, and natural leader who enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families while representing the Creatif brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities Event Leadership Lead and supervise mobile art events from setup through cleanup. Coordinate event timelines and assign responsibilities to team members. Communicate with event hosts regarding schedules, project selections, and special requests. Ensure all events are delivered according to company standards. Art Instruction Lead drawing, painting, and mixed-media art sessions for participants of all ages. Demonstrate step-by-step drawing and painting techniques. Teach participants using various art mediums including acrylics, watercolor, colored pencils, markers, clay, ceramics, and crafts. Adapt instruction based on age, experience, and learning styles. Encourage creativity while maintaining an engaging learning environment. Event Preparation Prepare project kits and organize all event materials. Load, transport, and unload equipment and supplies safely. Verify inventory before and after each event. Ensure all equipment is clean and operational. Customer Experience Welcome guests and create a fun, positive, and engaging atmosphere. Ensure every participant receives excellent customer service. Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Build positive relationships with schools, parents, teachers, corporate clients, and community partners. Safety & Compliance Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Ensure participants follow safety procedures while using art materials and tools. Follow company safety policies and local regulations. Monitor children and participants throughout activities. Administrative Duties Complete event reports and inventory records. Assist with merchandise sales and registrations. Capture event photos (with permission) for marketing. Train and mentor new Mobile Art Coordinators. Qualifications Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Design, or related field (preferred). Previous experience leading art classes, camps, workshops, or events. Experience working with children and families. Previous customer service or retail experience. Skills Strong drawing and sketching abilities. Proficiency in painting and various art techniques. Ability to confidently teach drawing and art projects to groups. Leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Stand for extended periods. Bend, kneel, reach, and transport supplies. Ability to travel to multiple event locations. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors. Additional Qualifications Knowledge of Principles and practices of workplace safety and proper handling of art materials. Basic computer programs including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling software, and POS systems. Inventory management and event coordination. Skills and Abilities Demonstrate proficiency in drawing, painting, and a variety of art techniques. Effectively lead creative activities for participants of all ages. Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. Listen actively, understand different viewpoints, and share relevant information in a timely manner. Effectively and productively engage with others and establish trust, credibility, and confidence with customers, participants, schools, event hosts, coworkers, and community partners. Build strong relationships while maintaining professionalism and exceptional customer service. Adapt quickly to changing event needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
Pay:
