The Laguna Beach location serves a discerning local and international collector base and represents the highest level of the Bill Mack Gallery experience. The Opportunity We are seeking a driven, charismatic, and results-oriented Fine Art Consultant to join our Laguna Beach team. This is a rare opportunity to represent world-class artists to serious collectors, build a client base of your own, and earn accordingly. As a Fine Art Consultant, you are the collector's guide. You will greet guests as they walk in, tell the stories behind the work, and turn a first visit into a lasting relationship. The consultants who succeed here are the ones who follow up, who remember what a client loved two years ago, and who treat a five-figure acquisition with the same care as a first purchase. If you have a background in high-end sales and a real love of art, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Sales Engage every guest who walks through the door with warmth and confidence, presenting our artists and their work in a way that invites conversation. Guide collectors through the acquisition process from first interest to final placement, including framing, shipping, and installation questions. Meet and exceed individual sales goals through consistent floor performance and disciplined follow-up. Build long-term relationships with collectors, learning their tastes and reaching out when the right piece arrives. Develop your own book of business through outreach, referrals, and repeat clients. Collector Relationships Maintain accurate client records and notes in the gallery's CRM so every follow-up is informed and personal. Stay in touch with past collectors through calls, emails, and personal invitations to new releases and gallery events. Represent the gallery at VIP appointments, exhibitions, and special events. Gallery Experience Help maintain the gallery's impeccable visual standards, including artwork display, rotation, and presentation. Assist with daily operations, inventory accuracy, and artwork handling. Contribute to a positive, collaborative floor where the whole team performs well.Learn our artists deeply:

A track record of success in luxury retail, fine art sales, or another high-end consultative environment, with real evidence that you can close.Relationship Instincts:

A genuine passion for fine and contemporary art, with the ability to speak confidently about artists, techniques, and movements. Formal art education is welcome but not required.Professional Presence:

Careful with inventory, paperwork, client records, and the artwork itself.Flexibility:
Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and peak tourism periods. Previous experience in a fine art gallery, luxury retail, or high-end sales role is strongly preferred. A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.
