POSITION SUMMARY
The Database Designer is responsible for designing the eSource/Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system that supports data collection and integration. The Database Designer will help identify, communicate, and resolve issues within the eSource/EDC system to maximize the benefit of the data management system and provide guidance to staff regarding electronic data capture systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead database design and documentation requirements as needed Test and modify the database to ensure reliable operation Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives and protocols Respond to inquiries from sponsors, site personnel, and outside vendors, etc. to provide data capture support Create and validate unique forms to be utilized in study specific protocols Create, assign, and maintain roles and permission for staff and external users

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills Meticulous attention to detail Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications and Microsoft products Knowledge of Electronic Data Capturing systems, Windows servers, and workstations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) Tabulate Certification
