A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Description:
Pierce Middle School's drama club, the Pierce Players, is looking to hire a Set Designer/Builder for its two shows (titles TBA) for the 2026-27 school year: Rehearsals begin in early Sept.
Performances:
SHOW #1: Dec. 10, 11, 12; SHOW #2: June 3, 4 & 5 Design, build and paint sets (with help as needed) for both productions
Stipend:
$3200 ($1600 for each show) (W-9)
Qualifications:
experience designing sets for theater experience building and painting scenery
