Excellent Job Description What You'll Do As a VDC Modeler / Coordinator , you'll play a vital role in supporting our construction teams by producing accurate, fabrication-ready models and coordinating with project stakeholders throughout the construction process. Responsibilities Model mechanical and plumbing systems in Revit to LOD 400 , including insulation and hangers. Create detailed spool drawings and prefabrication deliverables. Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage . Lead and participate in weekly coordination meetings with general contractors and trade partners. Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure model accuracy. Collaborate with field foremen and project managers to verify constructability. Maintain organized models following WMG VDC standards. Track modeling progress and communicate clash resolution with the VDC Manager. Qualifications 2+ years of experience modeling mechanical or plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit . Experience with SysQue, eVolve MEP, or Fabrication Parts . Hands-on experience creating spool sheets and hanger layouts. Proficiency with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination. Comfortable leading or participating in coordination meetings. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Working knowledge of MEP systems and commercial construction practices. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical or plumbing trade background. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 . Experience creating point files or supporting field layout.
