Monk Fidelity Sound Lab Monk Fidelity Sound Lab is a private recording studio in Highland Park, NJ focused on creating an exceptional recording experience for artists. Our sessions are centered around quality over quantity. We work with artists who care about making records they'll be proud of years from now, not just recording content as quickly as possible. We're looking for someone who shares that mindset and wants to become a dependable part of our team. The Role We're looking for an experienced audio engineer to lead recording sessions at Monk Fidelity. The most important qualification is availability and reliability . We're looking for someone who can consistently accept sessions, communicate well with clients, and deliver a professional recording and mixing experience. Responsibilities Record and engineer vocal sessions. Set up microphones and session templates. Deliver clean, organized Pro Tools sessions. Edit vocals when needed. Mix songs to a professional standard. Create a comfortable, positive environment for artists. Keep the studio clean and ready for each session. Communicate clearly regarding scheduling and availability. What We're Looking ForReliability We're looking for someone who is genuinely available to work. If we send you a booking request, we want confidence that you'll be able to take it most of the time. Strong Recording and Mixing Skills You should know how to: Track vocals efficiently. Understand gain staging and signal flow. Troubleshoot recording issues quickly. Keep sessions moving without sacrificing quality. Deliver professional quality mixes across a variety of genres.

As your client list at Monk Fidelity grows, there will be opportunities for additional work and increased responsibility. Studio Environment Monk Fidelity is a private, appointment-only recording studio operating from a residential location. Applicants should be comfortable working in a professional home studio environment and treating the space with the same respect as a commercial facility.
