Principal Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain a project/program Documentation Management Plan Coordinate regular review and update of program documentation Change/Content Management of program policy and requirements documents across multiple projects/programs Review/Edit engineering and acquisition documents and briefings to produce clear and concise material Validate documentation/briefing content to ensure accuracy and version control Manage Quality Assurance reviews of developed documents and briefings Manage review feedback of documents across multiple projects/programs, capturing revisions and suggestions for future development Coordinate leadership review and approval of documentation and briefings Actively participate in technical and programmatic meetings to provide status and define technical documentation development requirements and milestones
Skills:
Proficient in: Creation of technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense (for DoD) Technical Writing Version control, Change/Content Management principles and format Documentation/Presentation tools, including MS Office, Acrobat Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community both verbally and in writing Multi-tasking Familiar with: Agile Development fundamentals, structure and procedure of agile ceremony meetings Working knowledge of US Navy and Department of Defense terminology and acronyms Military exposure and experience, particularly with military technical documentation writing and formatting standards, guidelines, and verbiage
Requirements:
Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field of study and 3+ years of relevant work experience
Security Clearance:
Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Work Environment:
Work to be performed at NAVWAR Old Town classified space
