Job Description
The Associate Technical Writer is part of a team responsible for producing most client-facing documentation such as Online Help, Release Overviews, and Bug Fix Notes, as well as documentation for internal use. Responsibilities Document system features for all products in Online Help and monthly release overviews, coordinating reviews with the Product and Engineering teams. Write client-facing external bug fix (release) notes for monthly releases, coordinating reviews with the Engineering and QA teams. Produce and maintain client upgrade documentation packages for individual client environments, coordinating with the Client Delivery team. Write and produce the company's internal monthly newsletter. Provide internal writing support for special projects across the company. Required Skills and Experience 1-3 years of experience writing technical documentation for software products Experience with single-source documentation authoring tools such as MadCap Flare Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and research skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with financial software, fintech, and using AI tools for research a plus. Desired Skills Familiarity with basic principles of investing Familiarity with software development and testing processes Familiarity with source control systems and issue-tracking systems such as Jira, GitHub and Confluence Experience scripting and building training videos as needed Vestmark is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation for this role depends on several factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, job scope and location. In addition to base salary, Vestmark offers a comprehensive total rewards package, which includes, company-paid medical premiums of 90%, a competitive time-off program, and other variable compensation, if eligible. Salary range $65,000 — $75,000 USD
