Responsibilities Conduct detailed background, corporate, asset, and litigation-related investigations Gather, verify, and analyze data from public records, databases, and open-source intelligence Prepare clear, well-documented research summaries and investigative reports for attorneys Support case strategy by identifying key facts, connections, risks, and opportunities Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff on complex matters and timelines Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity in all research activities Monitor, track, and update case-related research findings and documentation Stay current on research tools, investigative techniques, and legal research resources Required Skills Legal research databases (e.g., Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, CLEAR, TLOxp) Public records and corporate filings research Open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques Investigative analysis and fact-finding Report writing and documentation Litigation support research Due diligence and background investigations Data verification and validation Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Information confidentiality and compliance
