Milwaukee, WI Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Graphic design software Delegation Full Job Description Proposal Writer Our architectural firm is currently seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our talented team. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be detail-oriented, flexible and organized. This individual must also possess strong time-management skills and be comfortable working on multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience and familiarity with proposal coordination and management. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required and experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry is preferred. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with senior leadership, business development, marketing and client communications team, and architectural team to develop, document, and lead strategy development for proposals and interviews Lead and prioritize proposal efforts for multiple, simultaneous responses. Lead and support Proposal Specialist in all aspects of proposal and interview preparation. Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate kick-off meetings; and track and manage progress and deadlines. Create proposal outlines, gather responses to proposal requirements, and identify/assign tasks. Prepare comprehensive deliverables including the planning, layout, drafting, editing, and production of proposals. Contact and gather information from sub-consultants/others as needed. Lead/assist with client interview/presentation preparation and create supporting documents (presentations, boards, leave-behinds, etc.) Write, organize, create, and proactively update project profiles, descriptions, data sheets, resumes, standard sections, and other related materials for use in deliverables. Provide overall quality assurance of proposal response/process to ensure consistency and compliance. Adhere to established proposal development process, while offering input to ensure continuous improvement. Ensure all materials support the firm's strategic goals and brand identity and take into account intended use and audience. Assist with preparing marketing activity reports related to active pursuits and win/loss results. Qualifications The ideal candidate shall have: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, architecture, business, or related field with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong attention to detail. Proven experience coordinating and managing proposal efforts. A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to create appealing and effective communication. Strong editing and document organization skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Outlook. Highly productive work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize job responsibilities, work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. A team-oriented, collaborative, resourceful, and positive can-do attitude. Strong preference will be given to those with experience working in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry and/or marketing experience for professional services.
