Job Description

We are looking for a creative Social Media Content Editor to support social media storytelling from Irvine, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can transform existing video and photo assets into engaging short-form content that captures attention quickly and reflects current platform trends. The right candidate will contribute fresh ideas, shape engaging concepts for Reels and social posts, and combine strong visual judgment with thoughtful editing choices.
Responsibilities:
  • Create short-form videos and supporting social visuals designed to increase engagement across social media channels.
  • Review existing photo and video libraries to uncover strong content opportunities and develop compelling post concepts.
  • Edit Reels with sharp pacing, effective opening hooks, and platform-appropriate storytelling techniques.
  • Incorporate typography, motion elements, transitions, music, and audio enhancements to elevate final content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to turn creative direction into high-quality assets while also suggesting original ideas proactively.
  • Adapt content to align with current social media trends without losing brand quality or visual consistency.
  • Prepare and refine visual materials during initial onboarding and continue supporting recurring content needs over time.
