MediaWorks, our original content division and production studio, produces commercial content alongside an established award-winning lifestyle YouTube platform with 500k+ subscribers, featuring original series around food, travel, coffee culture, design, and human stories. Project Overview We need a sharp, high-speed editor with a strong background in lifestyle content to turn around 4 upcoming episodes for an established cooking series on a tight timeline. We've already cut Episode 1 as a proof of concept, so you'll have a clear template, rhythm guide, and visual reference point to hit the ground running immediately. Each episode starts with 45-60 minutes of raw multi-cam footage (4-5 camera angles, mostly locked-off shots) that needs to be assembled and polished quickly. Job Overview This is an immediate opening for a freelance/project-based position paid on per project rate (flat rate $1,500 per episode, $6,000 flat total for 4 episodes). Scope of Work and Qualifications We need an editor who works fast, stays organized, and understands current social trends, platform aesthetics, and modern editing techniques (pacing, kinetic visual cues, subtle sound design, color treatment). You know how to keep food content punchy and visually appealing without dragging out the timeline.
    Turnaround:
    Fast, efficient assembly and delivery across a 4-episode batch.
      Deliverables:
      4 final videos, running roughly 10-12 minutes each.
        Editing & Pacing:
        Multi-cam sync and fast-paced cut down into a tight, engaging narrative.
          Finishing:
          Music track selection, audio mix, and color correction.
            Revisions:
            Up to 2 rounds of rapid revisions per episode.

            • Strong pulse on current video trends, visual styles, and editing formats.
            • Highly proficient and fast with multi-cam workflows in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
            • Reliable, self-directed, and able to hit aggressive delivery deadlines without compromising quality.
