WayUp Media About the Role We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Manager & Video Editor to work hand-in-hand with our internal team producing high-performing content for brands and businesses across multiple industries. This is an in-office role ideal for someone who loves short-form video, understands platform trends, and enjoys turning ideas into polished content. You'll support day-to-day social media management while editing video and photo content that helps our clients grow their presence across platforms. Because we're a small, tight-knit team, this role also includes a supporting operations component: you'll be cross-trained on our administrative workflows so you can step in and keep things running smoothly when our office administrator is out. Responsibilities Assist with social media management across multiple client accounts Edit short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other emerging channels Edit and optimize photo content for social media Support content planning, posting, and organization Monitor performance and assist with social analytics and reporting Collaborate closely with our internal team to execute creative strategies Stay up to date on trends, sounds, formats, and platform updates Provide administrative backup coverage during planned absences: handling scheduling, booking coordination, and client communication so day-to-day operations continue seamlessly What You'll Bring 1-2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation Strong video editing skills (short-form content especially) Experience executing social strategies and contributing to channel growth Solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok , and emerging platforms Comfort reviewing insights, analytics, and performance metrics Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail Willingness to be cross-trained on administrative tasks and flexibility to shift into an operations-support role when coverage is needed Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or other video editing software Experience using Lightroom and Photoshop Comfort using or experimenting with AI tools in content creation or editing workflows Prior experience with office administration, scheduling, or client-facing coordination How to Apply Please submit your application through Indeed & through our website: https://www.wayupmedia.com/careers We're excited to see your work and learn how you think creatively.
