ClayBasin Works is looking for a Video Editor to join our Montgomery team and turn raw footage into polished, engaging final products, working closely with creative, marketing, and production teams from concept through delivery. You will tighten pacing, find the emotional beat in a rough cut, and keep projects moving under tight deadlines, with real room to bring your own creative instincts to the work. Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for a range of formats, including social media, branded content, and internal projects
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketing team members to align edits with creative direction and messaging goals
• Manage color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics integration, and other post-production elements
• Organize and maintain media libraries, project files, and version control across multiple concurrent projects
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining the integrity and pacing of the final piece
• Stay current on editing trends, techniques, and tools relevant to short-form and long-form video content
• Support pre-production planning when needed, including shot list input and workflow recommendations
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and are exported correctly for their intended platforms What We Are Looking For
• 2 or more years of professional video editing experience, ideally across both short-form and long-form content
• Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
• A solid understanding of pacing, storytelling structure, color, and sound design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with comfort taking direction and iterating on feedback
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating range and technical skill
• Experience with motion graphics or basic animation is a plus Growth and Opportunities
