Video Editor (Freelance)

As a Freelance Video Editor at Ginni Media, your work will support podcasts, brand partnerships, and original content seen and heard by audiences across the U.S. and beyond. You'll step into projects with clarity, ownership, and a strong creative point of view, knowing that great video is equal parts storytelling, technical precision, and trust. You'll be based in New York or the tri state area as you will be required to come into the office in Midtown, NY once a month. You're comfortable working independently, but never in a vacuum. You collaborate seamlessly with producers, project managers, podcast teams, and creative leads to bring complex ideas to life, on time and to a high standard. You have a sharp eye, a steady hand under deadlines, and a deep respect for story, accuracy, and craft. This is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving creative environments and knows how to deliver exceptional work without constant oversight. The projects you will work on will vary from full podcast video episodes, short reels and trailers, and static promotional graphics.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Proven experience editing podcasts with branding guidelines, fast cuts and detailed edits. Advanced English.
• Sound jugdement and a critical eye of when and where to place B-Roll to enhance or tell a story.
• Knowledge of Slack or Asana.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
• An understanding of AI tools for video editing.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative working style
• A self-directed editor who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and solves problems creatively

Pay:
