Tampa, FL (USL Headquarters) Overview of the United Soccer League (USL) The United Soccer League (USL) is shaping the future of American soccer through the largest connected soccer ecosystem in the United States. United for Soccer. Position Purpose The Video Producer & Editor is responsible for creating video content, including narrative features, short-form content for social, and marketing video assets. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, able to manage multiple projects at once and work well with other members of the USL team. This individual will also provide strategic recommendations and elevations to assist in achieving departmental and company goals. Duties and Responsibilities Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Execute the creation of video content with supporting motion graphics. Develop ideas & storylines to promote company initiatives & brand. Manage projects from conceptualization to completion — ideation, storyboarding, scriptwriting, shooting, editing, graphics, color correction, audio mastering, and delivery. Direct, shoot and edit internal and external interviews with key stakeholders for a variety of video projects. On rotation with other team members, work some nights and weekends, creating post-match highlights for games utilizing the WSC platform. Cross-collaborate and work closely with various internal departments. Provide strategic recommendations and evaluations to contribute to achieving departmental and company goals. Address feedback in an efficient & productive manner; deliver exceptional customer service. This position may involve travel up to 20%. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience in video production. 1.5+ years of relevant experience in video production and editing. Experience working in a project-based environment with an emphasis on meeting deadlines. High proficiency working in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Working knowledge of Photoshop. Comprehensive understanding of video production processes. Inspire creative thinking, present new content ideas, and proactively solve problems. Be a strong self-starter and capable of working independently. Excellent time management, work ethic, and team collaboration skills. Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills. Knowledge of soccer is important. Flexible schedule and ability to work unconventional hours including weekend and game nights during in-season. Ability to receive and address feedback in an efficient & productive manner. Must maintain a consistent in-person presence that is consistent with the larger Creative Services team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact across departments with coworkers, executives, member clubs, and external partners. Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must. Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel if / when necessary. Must have U.S. work authorization. Work Environment Based in Tampa, FL, USL Headquarters provides a vibrant and open working environment designed to promote collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and knowledge sharing. From Monday to Thursday, team members gather in person to harness the power of face-to-face collaboration. On Fridays, we transition to a remote work setup, providing our team with the flexibility to manage their tasks in an environment of their choosing. Typical USL HQ hours are Monday- Friday 8:30am
