Cameron Elder (Creative Director) Position Summary We're looking for a creative, camera-comfortable intern to help shoot and manage social media content for BNX and The
REFINERY.
You'll be out shooting events and day-to-day happenings, assisting on long-form video projects, and running short-form content for Instagram. Hours vary and can include both business hours and off-hours depending on events and shoots. Company Overview BioNanomics is a laboratory and robotics makerspace where student interns and independent scientists can run research experiments in synthetic biology and develop new techniques to automate those processes. Learn more at bionanomics.com. We also run The REFINERY, a robotics workshop space supporting FRC/FTC teams across northeast Indiana. Key Responsibilities Shoot photos and video at events and day-to-day happenings around the space Assist in shooting and possibly editing long-form video projects Help manage social media for both BNX and The REFINERY, primarily on Instagram and YouTube Shoot phone photo/video for short-form content, Reels, and Stories Qualifications Real experience with cameras Ideally studying film, media management, or something similar Someone passionate about science communication and media Portfolio with application Why Join Us?
