Job Description
We're looking for experienced freelance photo and video crews based in Los Angeles for a one-day lifestyle/event shoot in Santa Monica in November. This is not a production company search. We are specifically looking for independent photographers and videographers who preferably already work with their own trusted assistants. The shoot is for a premium immersive holiday experience and will focus on dynamic, cinematic lifestyle content rather than traditional event documentation.
We are looking for:
1 Photographer + Photo Assistant
Responsible for executing the photo shot list, capturing lifestyle/environmental imagery, and directing Friends & Family talent during the shoot.
1 Videographer / DP + Video Assistant
Responsible for executing the video shot list, dynamic cinematic coverage, gimbal work, environmental storytelling, and directing Friends & Family talent.
1 Lighting Assistant / G&E
Supporting both photo and video teams as needed throughout the day.

One full shoot day
Short tech scout prior to the shoot
Creative direction, shot lists, schedule, location access and on-site production coordination will be provided
No concept development or pre-production required from the crew
Mix of staged lifestyle moments and real event atmosphere
Daylight, sunset and evening coverage expected Preferred equipment: Professional photo camera + lenses
Professional cinema/video camera + lenses
Gimbal
Compact lighting / grip package We're particularly interested in photographers and videographers who already have their own assistant and regularly work together as a team.
