Videographer

OVERVIEW PODHEAD STUDIOS

seeks a videographer with a keen and detailed eye for the image and experience with studio multi-cam video production. Compose shots, light, and oversee technical processes for podcast-style content shot in our studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compose and craft shots for podcast style productions.
• Set up, maintain, and design lighting configurations
• Block, design, and oversee blocking of furniture/set and on-camera talent
• Communicate and work with studio heads, clients, and creative teams to understand and execute their vision and goals
• Use multi-cam switcher to "live-edit" content

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of videography including visual language, lensing, camera placement, and technical elements of digital video production
• Experience in studio lighting styles including use and placement of modifiers like softboxes, lanterns, and fresnel attachments.
• Proficiency in studio operations including safely using lighting equipment, stands, sandbags, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Aputure Lighting Systems and Blackmagic Cameras / ATEM switchers is preferred.
