Cape Media Center, a vibrant community media organization serving the Mid-Cape region, is seeking a creative and skilled Videographer/Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong technical background in video production, and a commitment to community engagement.Key Responsibilities:
Videography and Field Production Cover community events, interviews, municipal activities, and local happenings throughout the Mid-Cape region. Operate professional video cameras and related production equipment in live and recorded settings. Capture high-quality video and audio with an eye for compelling storytelling, visual composition, and accuracy. Work independently and collaboratively during field productions. Video Editing and Post-Production Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. Produce polished short-form and long-form content for broadcast, social media, websites, and YouTube. Prepare finished programming for distribution on Cape Media Center's television channels and digital platforms. Collaborate with staff to maintain consistent visual, technical, and narrative quality across all video content. Organize, manage, and archive video footage and completed projects. Community Engagement and Education Interact professionally with residents, nonprofit organizations, community partners, town officials, and members of the public. Assist with video-production classes, workshops, and other educational programs. Provide technical assistance to community members and program producers as needed. Participate in planning sessions to identify meaningful stories that reflect local voices, organizations, events, and issues.Scheduling & Flexibility:
Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday. Some evening and weekend assignments may be required based on community events and production schedules. Coordinate field-production logistics, equipment needs, and filming schedules with Cape Media Center staff.Benefits:
