Job Description
Varsity Media is in search of SPORTS oriented freelance videographers who can live stream. We are looking to fill camera operator positions to go out and cover youth and high school sports events. Interested candidates who own or have experience working with prosumer camcorders will be considered. Candidates who own fixed lens camcorders will be considered above those with mirrorless cameras. Qualified candidates will also have access to a streaming device or laptop. Every game we cover must be live streamed. Job details include; arriving 1 hour prior to start of game. Recording entire game on SD card while live streaming. And finally, uploading game once it ends. Uploading footage can be done from home. Games occur weekdays after 5pm and weekends anytime after 9am. Varsity Media covers; football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, volleyball, ice hockey, field hockey and others.
