Job Summary Tired of being an editing machine for clients you never meet? Most video jobs look the same: someone hands you a brief, you shoot what you're told, and you spend the rest of the week alone in front of a timeline. The business owner is a name on a project file. You never find out if the video worked. This job is the opposite of that. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Videographer/Editor to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content. In this role, you'll sit down with business owners, learn their history, how they work, and what makes them different, and turn that into video they're proud to show. Some of it lives on their website. Some of it gets cut into short pieces for social media. You'll also produce video for Little Mountain Printing itself, where you'll have room to be creative with your own ideas. What you'll do : You'll run most shoots yourself, but you won't be alone. We have team members here we want you to train up to assist you on projects. Over time, you'll be building a video team, not just a video library.

Strategy:

Work out the audience, the message, and what the video needs to accomplish

Pre-production:

Concepts, scripts, shot lists, storyboards, scheduling, locations

Production:

Direct and shoot on location and in studio, including lighting and audio

Post-production:

Edit, plus motion graphics, sound, color, captions, and final formatting Project management: Keep approvals, revisions, deadlines, and files on track through delivery Customer service: Stay in touch with customers and help build ongoing video programs Team development: Help train and grow other creative team members here What we're looking for: Proven experience in videography and video editing within a fast-paced environment; portfolio showcasing a variety of multimedia projects is preferred. Strong technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, and other media editing software. Hands-on experience operating broadcast studio equipment, live event AV production projects, and theatrical lighting systems. Knowledge of photography principles and experience using professional lighting equipment for video shoots. Familiarity with audio systems, media processing techniques, rigging for lighting setups, and live production performance workflows.
