Entry Level to Intermediate I'm looking for a creative part-time videographer / camera operator to collaborate with me on meaningful social media and storytelling projects. The main focus of this role will be creating content around a nonprofit charity I recently started that brings good people together to do good things and create a positive impact on others . The nonprofit is built around kindness, generosity, community, and finding creative ways to help people. Projects might include surprising someone with an act of kindness, helping a family going through a difficult time, hosting a fundraiser for children with cancer, giving away food, collaborating with local businesses, or simply sitting down with someone and sharing their story. The goal is to capture real moments that can inspire other people to do good too. Alongside the nonprofit, I also share my personal cancer-fighting journey with a community of 50,000+ followers on Instagram and I also started a local business Dochi Donuts from ground up. Together, these give us a wide range of stories and projects to create. The Type of Content We'll Create will revolve around: Making a positive impact.

Projects may include:

Random acts of kindness Helping individuals and families in need Fundraisers for children and families affected by cancer Surprise gifts or experiences Food and product giveaways Community outreach Conversations with people going through challenges Sharing inspiring personal stories Collaborations with local businesses and organizations Documenting people doing good things in their communities Creative social experiments centered around kindness/cancer Finding and testing video ideas that have the potential to reach a large audience The goal isn't just to film good deeds. I want to create stories that make people feel something and hopefully inspire them to do something positive themselves. A big part of my platform has become connecting with people who are navigating challenges of their own. I want to continue growing that community while creating content that can encourage and connect people. Dochi Donuts I'm also the owner of Dochi Donuts , which gives us another creative outlet and a way to connect the business with some of the nonprofit and community projects.

Food videography New flavors and product launches Behind-the-scenes business content Staff and customer stories Restaurant collaborations Social media campaigns Giving away donuts as random acts of kindness Community events Fun and creative short-form content Using the business to support charitable projects and fundraisers Your Main Role We already have an editor on the team , so this position is primarily focused on camera operation and capturing great footage . You'll help capture the moments that allow our editor to build the final story.

Responsibilities may include:

Operating cameras during shoots Capturing strong B-roll Filming interviews and conversations Capturing candid and authentic moments Shooting vertical content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Following people and action in documentary-style environments Helping frame shots and identify interesting angles Following shot lists when needed Recognizing moments that weren't planned but are worth capturing Filming nonprofit projects, community events, and fundraisers Filming food and business content for Dochi Organizing and transferring footage to our editor Creativity Is Part of the Job This is very important to me. I'm not looking for someone who only shows up, holds a camera, and waits for directions . I want this to be collaborative. I have around 5 years of professional videography experience , including weddings, commercials, fashion photography, corporate videos, and business marketing content. I'll be involved in the ideas, storytelling, and creative direction, but I want to work with someone who brings their own perspective too.

I'm open to experimenting with different formats, styles, and ideas — including concepts that have the potential to become highly shareable or viral — as long as they fit the overall mission of creating something positive. What I'm Looking For You don't need years of professional experience. I'm looking for someone who already has a basic foundation in videography and wants the opportunity to keep learning and creating with me. Ideally, you: Understand basic camera operation Know exposure, focus, frame rates, and basic camera settings Have a good eye for composition and framing Understand basic lighting Can capture stable handheld footage Are comfortable filming people naturally Can capture emotion without making moments feel overly staged Notice meaningful or interesting moments as they happen Understand the basics of social media content Have an interest in storytelling Bring creative ideas to projects Are reliable and communicate well Are comfortable working with many different types of people Have a positive attitude and genuinely care about the mission Experience with mirrorless or DSLR cameras is helpful. Owning professional equipment is a plus, but not necessarily required . I'm building something that I hope continues to grow well beyond a few individual videos. The nonprofit will continue creating projects around kindness, community, fundraising, and helping others. My personal platform will continue documenting my journey and connecting with people. Dochi provides another platform and resource we can use creatively to support the mission. As everything grows, I want to build a small team of people who understand what we're trying to accomplish and genuinely enjoy creating together. This isn't just about finding someone to operate a camera. I'm hoping to find someone who eventually feels like a creative partner in bringing these stories and ideas to life .
