Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and creative Camera Operator to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and experience in video production. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for various projects, including YouTube videos, social media, and other content. You will collaborate closely with a director to ensure that the vision of each project is realized through your lens. Responsibilities Operate cameras and related equipment each day to capture high-quality video content. (Gear will be provided.) Collaborate with the production team to determine the best shots and angles for each scene. Setup and breakdown of filming equipment, ensuring everything is in working order. Edit video footage using software such as DaVinci Resolve to create polished final products. Maintain organized files of all footage and project assets throughout the production process. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and production quality. if there is nothing to film maybe we will have you update the website or post on reddit. Qualifications A visual storyteller with a strong understanding of how shots come together to tell a story. Experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Familiarity with filming techniques and equipment, including DSLRs, drones, and basic sound recording devices. Strong understanding of the exposure triangle and cinematic video principles. Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye for composition and storytelling through visuals. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to stand and operate a camera for extended periods of time. Patience and eagerness necessary to capture the prefect shot. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas during team discussions.
