Job Description

We are a privately owned and operated general repair shop with a great reputation for honesty and quality. We keep a very clean and well maintained facility. We take a lot of pride in fixing cars right the first time so they are safe and reliable. It is an enjoyable and tight knit place to work where everyone can earn an honest living. We rarely have openings. We are looking for a person who will be the front face for the business. This person will responsible for keeping the appointment book full answering phones and making appointments. This includes but is not limited to: Greeting customers when they arrive, discussing their concerns about their vehicles. Writing up a repair order and having customer sign. Dispatching the work to the technicians. After technicians diagnose the vehicle and make their recommendations put together an estimate and get an approval from the customer. Assign the technician the approved work. When work is completed call customer and finalize the transaction when they come to pick up the vehicle.
Must haves:
  • Good people skills (must like dealing with people)
  • Computer literate
  • Be able to handle multiple phone calls (calls get heavy at times)
  • Extremely organized
  • Keep track of multiple repair orders/ jobs at one time
  • Ensure the technicians are working within a timely manner and recognize when they are not
  • Punctuality and attendance is very important as this is for the most part not a supervised position Experience is preferred but not necessary.
It is more important to me that we get the right person for the job more so than the right background. We can train and teach the job to the right candidate. Salary is based on experience and back ground. We can come up with a fair compensation package together.
