We believe in recognizing people who consistently add value and demonstrate professionalism in their day-to-day work Job Summary The Customs Entry Writer is responsible for preparing and processing import customs entries, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and coordinating shipment clearance for clients. Responsibilities Prepare and submit customs entries accurately and on time Review import documents including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Classify products using HTS codes Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and customers Monitor shipments and resolve customs delays or holds Ensure compliance with CBP and other government agency requirements Maintain accurate shipment and customs records Qualifications 1-3 years of customs entry or import operations experience Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import documentation Experience with ABI/CargoWise or similar systems preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Freight forwarding or customs brokerage experience Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is a plus
