11am-7pm Mon-Fri; 4-6 hours Sat (Part-Time or Full-Time available to fill within the hours listed) Starts July 1 2025

Job Summary:

Provide personal support for a 21 year old male with autism. He verbally communications but has a limited vocabulary. Most of his emotions can be perceived through body language. He enjoys video games, anime, going to bookstore, fast food, video stores, mall.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Teach household chores (vacuuming, making bed, dishes, etc.)
• Teach IADLs (money management, etc)
• Driving with participant to multiple places within Washington County and the surrounding areas each day
• Encouraging social interaction
• Prompting to complete activities

Required Skills/Abilities:

• At least 1 year Direct Support experience with people with disability
• Experience with ABA or RBT
• Ability to quickly learn and be educated
• Ability to be patient and calm in all situations
• Ability to adapt to different communication styles
• Strong self-confidence in your own abilities and not easily intimidated
• Ability to be flexible with services

Innovative Education, Experience, and Certifications:

First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, minimum GED or High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements :

ability to drive, walk for up to 4 hours, swim independently,
