Direct Support Professional

ARSYS is looking to hire Residential Direct Support Professionals. Applicants Please note , Individuals within this program require assistance for personal cares . Thus, Direct Support Professionals must be able to assist with personal cares. Personal cares include but are not limited to the following: showering/bathing, changing briefs, toileting assistance, brushing teeth, assistance dressing/undressing, medication admin, transfer assistance, assistance while eating. You must be able and willing to assist individuals with all necessary cares! As a Direct Support Professional your main role will be to support individuals in daily living tasks, assist in personal cares, promoting self-worth, teaching/modeling independence, cooking meals, cleaning, driving, and participation in activities. Starting wage range for Direct Support Professionals will be $15.00 to $17.00 . Education and experience is welcome but not required. Direct Support Professionals must have a valid driver's license. Direct Support Professionals must be able to pass a Background check. Direct Support Professionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent Typical shifts for Direct Support Professional are 8am-3pm, 2 pm-10pm, and asleep overnight 10pm-6am . However, start and end times can vary depending on the needs of the program. Applicants are ideally available to work every other weekend.
