Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Department Leader to oversee our childcare programs and ensure a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education or related fields. This role is essential in guiding staff, developing curriculum, and fostering relationships with families while promoting the growth and development of children in our care. Duties Lead and manage the daily operations of the department, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum that supports childhood development. Supervise and mentor staff, providing training and support to enhance their caregiving skills. Foster a positive environment for children by promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for both children and staff. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare services. Requirements Proven experience in roles such as nannying, caregiving, classroom management, daycare operations, babysitting, or related fields. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles including infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes learning and growth for all children in care. A commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
