We're looking for an EH&S Director to join our dynamic EH&S team. Lead the development and execution of environmental, health, and safety strategies across the organization. Driving compliance, risk reduction, operational excellence, and a strong culture of safety through cross-functional leadership and accountability. What You'll Do
Strategic Oversight:
Develop and execute a long-term EH&S roadmap that prioritizes risk mitigation and behavioral safety.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure 100% adherence to OSHA, EPA, and NYS DEC regulations, as well as ISO standards.Audit & Inspection:
Lead internal and external audit programs and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.Incident Management:
Oversee root-cause analysis for all workplace incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and documented.Safety Culture:
Promote a zero-tolerance environment for safety infractions and foster a transparent "duty to report" among all staff.Environmental Stewardship:
Manage environmental permits and lead waste reduction and energy efficiency initiatives. What You Bring•Experience:
10+ years of progressive EH&S experience.Industry Depth:
Background in high-volume manufacturing environments.Regulatory Expertise:
Strong mastery of OSHA, EPA, and ISO compliance standards.Leadership:
Proven experience in multi-site or enterprise-level management.Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Certifications- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) strongly preferred. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Safety Engineering. Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$130,000- 160,000 (commensurate with experience)
