Director of Nursing (RN)
  • Assisted Living (144G) Assisted Living
  • Jordan, MN Pay:
    $85,000
  • $95,000 + Bonus Opportunity Overview We are seeking a hands-on Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations in our assisted living community.
This is not a desk-only role, you'll be actively involved in care oversight, staff leadership, and ensuring compliance within a dynamic environment that includes both traditional assisted living and behavioral health residents. If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, build structure, and make a real impact, this is it. What You'll Do Lead all clinical operations within a 144G assisted living setting Oversee service plans, assessments, and care delivery (including CADI/EW residents) Supervise nursing staff (LPNs, HHAs) and drive accountability and performance Manage medication systems and documentation (experience with MedRight or similar preferred) Ensure compliance with MDH regulations and 144G requirements Work directly with case managers, counties, and providers Participate in surveys, audits, and ongoing quality improvement Support admissions by evaluating clinical appropriateness and service needs Assist with staffing coordination and on-call clinical support as needed What You Bring Active RN license in Minnesota Assisted living experience required (144G experience strongly preferred) Experience with behavioral health, high-acuity, or complex residents is a plus Familiarity with CADI/EW and 6790 processes preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience Strong documentation and regulatory awareness Ability to lead a team while staying hands-on in operations What We're Looking For A present, engaged leader (not hands-off) Someone who can bring structure and consistency Strong communicator with staff and external partners Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Why Valleyview Smaller, team-focused environment where your impact is visible Opportunity to shape clinical processes and team culture Supportive leadership with a focus on accountability and growth Schedule Monday
