Job Description:
Director of Operations role with an excellent design/manufacturing company. Location is northern suburb of Milwaukee/upper Fox River basin area. Lead and oversee manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, inventory and shipping through 5 direct reports. Develop and execute strategies that enhance productivity, ensure quality, control costs and drive on-time delivery performance. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth and profitability objectives Manufacturing & Production Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards. Engineering & Product Support Direct engineering teams to support product development, customization, and continuous improvement. Warehousing, Inventory & Logistics, Distribution Manage warehouse operations to optimize storage, handling, and distribution efficiency. Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize excess or obsolete stock. Field Services/Installation Oversight for field services/ installation. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas. Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance operational capability. People Management/Leadership Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations & fulfillment teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred, not required. 10+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing, fulfillment, or supply chain roles. Proven track record in managing operations and diverse product portfolios. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
