Director of Production - Beauty We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven production leader to oversee the full lifecycle of product manufacturing, from final formulation through delivery to distribution partners. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and timely execution while working closely with external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end production planning, execution, and delivery across multiple product lines Manage relationships with external manufacturers and suppliers to ensure consistent performance and accountability Track production timelines, identify risks, and resolve delays or capacity constraints Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring all products meet regulatory and brand standards Maintain accurate production documentation, including batch records and compliance files Coordinate logistics and inventory flow to support seamless delivery to warehouse partners Manage purchase orders, materials planning, and production data within ERP systems Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials and production-related system records Monitor production costs, including freight and duties, and support budget oversight Develop and improve production workflows, reporting tools, and performance metrics Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to align on timelines and deliverables Support new product introductions and scaling initiatives Qualifications 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations within beauty or related industries Experience working with external manufacturing partners or managing production environments Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and supply chain processes Advanced Excel skills with the ability to track, analyze, and report on production data Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage external partners Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmen Catherine Aranda View Catherine Aranda's Jobs Benefits offered See Benefits
