$150,000 - $210,000 + bonus Role OverviewWe are seeking a Director of Controls and Service to lead and grow our controls and service organization in Connecticut. This role has full responsibility for the performance of the division, including P&L ownership, team leadership, and operational execution across service and automation. The ideal candidate has strong technical BAS knowledge combined with proven management experience and the ability to run a multi‑discipline business unit effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and grow the controls and service division, with full ownership of P&L performanceOversee service and automation operations, ensuring consistent execution and customer satisfactionManage and support technicians, automation engineers, sales staff, and administrative personnelSet operational standards, workflows, and performance expectations across the divisionPartner with sales to support growth, renewals, and customer retentionProvide technical oversight and escalation support for complex BAS and controls issuesDrive hiring, development, and retention of high‑performing teamsEnsure compliance with safety, labor, and contractual requirementsRequired QualificationsStrong technical background in Building Automation Systems and HVAC controlsPrior management experience leading service, controls, or automation teamsExperience overseeing budgets, forecasts, and operational performanceAbility to lead both technical and non‑technical teams effectivelyStrong communication and leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience managing both service and automation organizationsBackground in commercial, healthcare, higher education, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Tridium, JCI, Siemens, or SchneiderCompensation and BenefitsBase salary range of $150,000 to $210,000, depending on experienceCompetitive benefits packageSenior leadership role with direct impact on business growth and performance
