Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity this summer supporting high school students in a therapeutic setting as a School Psychologist. This contract position focuses on the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running tentatively from June 1st to June 30th, providing critical psychological services that foster academic, emotional, and social growth. Ideal candidates bring expertise in school psychology and a passion for helping students thrive. Your contributions will promote a positive school climate, support individualized learning, and collaborate with a team dedicated to student success.
Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in school settings, especially at the high school level Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling Knowledge of therapeutic approaches within educational environments Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform student supports Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a collaborative team Offer counseling services to address students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop intervention strategies Support a therapeutic school program environment, tailored to high school students Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal and ethical standards
