Your day to day as a Director of Strategic Marketing As the Director of Strategic Marketing at Miami Valley Gaming, you will take the reins in spearheading the property's customer strategy and database marketing initiatives, driving profitable growth through innovative advertising and community-focused marketing efforts. You'll be at the forefront of developing effective segmentation and targeting strategies, leading a talented team while collaborating with HR and other departments to enhance engagement initiatives. Partnering closely with the Director of Casino Marketing, you will oversee the Database Marketing, Advertising, Creative, and Community Outreach functions. Your strategic vision will shape comprehensive advertising strategies across multiple channels, ensuring maximum ROI and customer interaction. Additionally, you will bolster brand presence in the community through impactful outreach and partnerships, ensuring alignment with our core values. Exceptional oral and written communication abilities will enable you to effectively articulate strategies and insights. A proven track record in developing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand awareness is a must. You should have a deep understanding of casino industry trends and consumer behavior, paired with a strategic, analytical mindset that embraces data-driven decision-making. Experience managing marketing budgets, along with strong leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams, will set you apart. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of progressive senior marketing experience within the casino or related industries are strongly preferred. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools, along with advanced analytics skills, will further enhance your success in this dynamic role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Public relations and customer service skills. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness. Strong understanding of casino industry trends, consumer behavior and competitive dynamics. Strategic and analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making and problem solving. Strong business acumen and financial literacy with experience managing marketing budgets and resources effectively. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Five to seven years of progressive senior marketing leadership experience within the casino/hotel industry or a related entertainment or hospitality environment w ith direct accountability for revenue generation and growth performance. Advanced expertise in CRM and database marketing leveraging segmentation, predictive modeling, and reinvestment optimization to drive profitable player growth; strong analytical fluency with marketing performance dashboards, reinvestment ratios, ROI metrics, and control group testing methodologies. Prior casino marketing experience strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and business intelligence/reporting systems (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
