Job Description

Are you a visionary leader ready to take command of a complex, end-to-end supply chain? An exciting opportunity awaits a seasoned Supply Chain Director in the Congers/West Nyack, New York area. This pivotal role requires 8-12+ years of progressive operations and leadership experience, ideally within a regulated batch manufacturing environment such as cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceuticals. You will be the architect of the entire supply chain-from planning, sourcing, and packaging to inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and logistics. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong people management skills, responsible for driving comprehensive and effective global Supply Chain initiatives, ensuring successful purchasing KPIs, and modeling succession planning for the department. If you have the drive and enthusiasm to work to tight deadlines and are ready to embrace a culture of continuous improvement, this role offers a competitive salary up to $165,000.

BachelorsResponsibilities Manage the End to End Supply Chain, encompassing Planning, Inventory management, Sourcing & Packaging, Procurement, warehouse, and logistics management activities. Manage the integrity of all site Supply Chain information held on the company MRP system. Collaborate with the management team to conceive, create, develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to improve global Supply Chain initiatives. Support the Sales and Operating planning process by analyzing site and supplier capacities and developing production actionable plans. Review and approve purchases over a specified dollar amount as well as non-routine purchases. Direct strategic sourcing of raw materials and services that align with goals and objectives. Seek opportunities to leverage the Company s volumes, knowledge, and relationships across multiple divisions. Support the Global Supply Chain team in identifying/developing new suppliers, creating price and supply contracts, and developing existing suppliers (e.g., on time delivery adherence, supplier quality development). Manage and develop the Site Supply Chain team, including setting departmental objectives and supporting/mentoring team members. Model succession planning for the team and apply process to provide solutions for exits and promotions. Effectively communicate globally with all executive levels and operational management.
