Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy environment for guests. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred, but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including cooking, cleaning, and food preparation techniques. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
