Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy environment. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe kitchen workspace. Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, to uphold hygiene standards. Support catering events or banquets by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary. Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus but can be taught on the job.
