Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain a sanitized work environment by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas in compliance with health standards Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring all serving ware is ready for service Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently during service to enhance guest experience Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours and special events Will need to have experience using a point of sales system/register and be able to help in coverage of the front of house. Skills Experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks with speed and accuracy Strong organizational skills to manage cleaning routines and prep work efficiently Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Previous banquet or hotel experience is a plus but not required Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to hospitality excellence and customer satisfaction Must have some experience in cutting of beef, chicken, pork, and seafood, with knowledge of different types of cuts This role offers an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of guest experiences.
