Dispatcher - Job Summary Drivers License Preferred

• Wednesday-Sunday schedule. 10am-3pm
• We are seeking an organized and proactive Dispatcher to support daily route operations and driver management.

This role is responsible for confirming schedules, managing attendance, handling call-outs, coordinating coverage, and helping ensure routes are completed successfully. The Dispatcher must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating through WhatsApp and internal scheduling tools. Responsibilities Confirm driver schedules for the following day Verify driver arrivals and attendance on scheduled workdays Monitor call-outs and quickly locate available replacement drivers Coordinate same-day coverage for open routes Be prepared to assist with running a route out of Carlstadt in the event of a same-day call-out Maintain organized communication through WhatsApp and scheduling platforms Track route coverage, staffing status, and attendance updates Communicate with drivers and operations regarding schedule changes and route issues Keep records organized and updated daily Support overall route completion and operational efficiency Requirements Dispatch, logistics, transportation, routing, or driver management experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using WhatsApp and scheduling software Ability to work quickly and make decisions in time-sensitive situations Strong attendance management and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced operation Must be reliable and able to support emergency coverage when needed Familiarity with final-mile delivery operations is a plus This role is ideal for someone who can manage people, stay organized, react quickly to issues, and keep operations moving.
