You will verify tool construction against technical documentation, perform electrical and mechanical measurements, update and release tool documentation, and collaborate closely with engineering and internal stakeholders to ensure tools operate safely and as designed. Responsibilities Perform tool qualifications by verifying tool construction against engineering prints and technical documentation. Measure and inspect mechanical components and part numbers to confirm they match design specifications. Confirm electrical characteristics such as voltages and currents to ensure they meet defined requirements. Verify overall tool performance to ensure each system operates as intended and meets functional expectations. Document all qualification results clearly and accurately for review and traceability. Execute safety sign-offs by completing required safety checklists and documentation. Review safety documentation with appropriate stakeholders and obtain necessary signatures and approvals. Review and interpret validation testing results to determine whether tools and systems meet performance criteria. Use electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation to troubleshoot electrical, electro-mechanical, and basic control interactions. Assist in isolating root causes for tool or system failures identified during qualification or validation testing. Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate issues, resolve problems, and document corrective actions. Review test results with engineering and other internal resources and obtain formal approvals as required. Update tool documentation, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance procedures, to reflect as-built configurations and changes. Prepare documentation for release, including yellow tags, blue tags, and safety sign-off documents. Make minor updates to tool documentation using Agile or similar systems and support the creation and processing of engineering change notices. Support project planning by organizing and scheduling meetings related to tool qualification and validation activities. Identify and request parts required for qualification activities and coordinate their availability. Plan timing for completion of qualification tasks to align with crating, shipping, and other downstream activities. Document work performed in a clear and organized manner and communicate progress and issues to internal stakeholders. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to support all aspects of tool qualification and troubleshooting. Review and edit Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure they accurately reflect the components and configurations actually built. Update Word and Excel documents as needed to maintain accurate records of parts, components, and tool configurations. Essential Skills 2-8 years of experience working with electro-mechanical systems, including both electrical and mechanical fundamentals. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics. Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems using schematics and related documentation. Ability to read and edit Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure they align with as-built configurations. Proficiency in updating documentation using Word and Excel to reflect actual parts and components used. Knowledge and hands-on experience with measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, and oscilloscopes. Strong safety mindset with a consistent focus on safe work practices and adherence to safety procedures. Critical thinking skills to resolve differences between observed conditions and expected results. Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate questions or issues for guidance. Comfort working with internal consultants and reviewers to obtain feedback, approvals, and sign-offs. Electrical and mechanical experience sufficient to support tool qualifications, troubleshooting, and documentation updates. Competence in reading blueprints and schematics for both electrical and mechanical systems. Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues, including interpreting ECNs and BOMs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with pneumatics, including pneumatic components and systems used in tools or manufacturing equipment. Experience with PLCs and basic understanding of control logic for automated systems. Exposure to vision systems used for inspection or automation is beneficial. 3D modeling or more advanced CAD experience to support understanding of tool design and modifications. Experience with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including reviewing, implementing, and documenting changes. Understanding of manufacturing equipment safety requirements and related standards. Familiarity with Agile or similar systems for managing documentation updates and engineering changes. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, schedule meetings, and coordinate project timelines. Motivation to work in a prototype environment and adapt to evolving tools, processes, and documentation.Pay:
